It wasn't me.

The news is apparently out that we lost a helicopter today. Since I will be out of contact for the next few weeks I didn't want anyone to read it in the news, write me an email, get no responce, then pore out some good booze in my name.

Drink your beers and scotches... don't "pore one out for me."

MY guys are fine, as am I... We canceled our flight this morning because of weather.

Sorry to hear about the loss of a crew. More than sorry.
For whatever reason, Kabul atmospheric conditions are suddenly in the news here.
Take good care wherever you will be.
Letter follows.

Well the weather has been garbage here for the past week and a half. It never stops snowing! The snow mixes with the dirt so that it feels like living in some sort of mud soup. It is like the Dilbert cartoon when they go to Ebonia... mud, beards, and funny hats!

Thanks! I don't think a drunk is ever wasted!

Everyone says "Hi" back... You better hurry your little butt out here or we might win this thing without you!
