For the junior anthropology students out there.

For those of you that have been curious about the nomads. I took this picture about a week ago. These tents are all over the place randomly in the countryside. Sometimes they are in groups of them up to 5 or so, sometimes single. There are usually people around herding sheep or goats.

Husband: "Where do you think we should camp, sweetheart?"

Wife: "Oh, I know honey; how about right by that barren patch of nothing."

Husband: "You mean the one beside the brown spot? Sounds like a great idea!"

That conversation must happen across this country about a thousand times a day.

If that was my life, I think I would eventually keep walking in one direction and look for something better. Say what you will about the quaint nomadic life. Living simply off the land and all that... but you would eventually figure "Hey! I don't want to barely survive every day and die at 30 years old... Hey, wife! Lets do something different this year..."

Jr,
I am looking forward to your reports of the backyards of Atlanta! May they be as good in real life as my imagination!!!
